Hey there, Amanda here with Two Wheels Four Paws. We have several exciting announcements to make here, but the first one is the official launch of our Working Dog Club! We offer protection, detection, and search and rescue training. We also offer decoy mentoring and handler mentoring.
A lot of the information about the ESWDA, the organization we run our club through is here: http://www.eswda.org/standards/ You can click through the different trial information regarding the Utility Protection Dog and any scent work of your choosing. We have the means to do it all.
This is why we have chosen to partner with the Association, from their By Laws PDF: "The objectives and goals of this association are as follows: 1. The promotion of the working dog and its usefulness to society. 2. The promotion of the use of working dogs for police and related public safety uses. 3. To support the use of dogs by ALL police departments. 4. Encourage and promote the certification of working dogs and their handlers. 5. To generate interest and to educate the public concerning police service and working dogs. 6. To conduct training by competent, experienced and approved trainers, and to hold working dog seminars with qualified and established instructors. 7. To provide education in all aspects of rearing and training of working dogs. 8. To promote friendly relations between all organizations dedicated to the working dog concept."
All we require to join our Working Dog club is to become a member of the ESWDA, which is a $45 annual fee (thru ESWDA), and a $25 monthly fee to be a member of our club (paid to HB or Amanda). We train every Saturday and offer all of the options ESWDA trials under.
